i think i might 'revise' this whole blog thing once more...more writing, a splash of photo(journalism), etc, etc. that way, maybe i'll actually update more frequently - my life - it's all so intriguing! *sarcasm

to begin this venture of photography: i start with the old...

'ode to 2007'

and then, i'll begin with my first image of '08...actually taken on new year's day.

oh great!

the new year is here. and although i have been neglectful thus far in the upkeep and writings of my blog - i don't intend on resolving it. no. my lack of writing is not a resolution for this year. but my photography is. therefore, i would like to illustrate my ideas, events, daily activities through pictures, on this space. in no way an 'original' idea, yet still fitting. -but please don't take this as a challenge upon myself...i will probably still feel the need to write something every now and again. a picture may be a thousand words - but i usually have at least ten more to spare.

new year's '08 resolutions (what to expect in this here 'blogger'):
-photograph a food item ("professionally") for stock/portfolio related purposes once a week.
-photograph a noun (essentially) person/place/or thing - although not limited to - for personal play and/or stock related purposes once a month.
-drink more water.

yeah, i've looked at some of getty's food photography...i'm thinking i may a have a place in that market. yikes!

happy new year! I would say 2008 is going to be great - but that would make me far too cheesy, don't you think?....yeah, i heard someone say that recently, and i thought so too. enough with the rhymes people!
